In 2011 Anne-Marie was selected for the National Youth Jazz Orchestra. Led by Benjamin Herman, the premiere took place in the BIMhuis in Amsterdam. After this, the orchestra toured the Netherlands' largest stages, including the North Sea Jazz Festival, North Sea Round Town, Lowlands and Haarlem Jazz.

From 2011 Anne-Marie studies at the ArtEZ conservatory in Enschede with Jan Wessels. She studies at the jazz and pop department, majoring in trumpet / flugelhorn.

In June 2015 Anne-Marie successfully obtained her Bachelor of Music. She then started a master's degree at the Royal Conservatory of Antwerp with Nico Schepers and Bert Joris.

Anne-Marie is currently working as a trumpet teacher and band leader at OYFO in Hengelo and the Fundament Foundation in Losser. She is also the musical director of Big Band Heerde.
