Hi, my name is Danielle and I have been playing the violin since I was four years old. At the age of 16 I bought my first electric violin and started playing with DJs. These days my fulltime job is playing the violin with a specialization in improvisation.

I toured with Kovacs for about 2,5 years. I play in The Exclusive Strings, an all Female international Quartet, as well as with Irish folk rock party band Acting the Maggot and I’m part of DutchDanceDivas, an all female DJ and Artist collective. Besides that I play many solo gigs.

Normally I play about 3-6 times a week. I love all genres and over the past 10 years I’ve travelled the world playing crossover classical music, metal and rock, dubstep, folk, pop, dance and house music.

My favorite thing is improvising on lounge; whether it’s ambient or uptempo. Whenever I’m able to surprise myself with what comes out of my violin at that moment, THAT is music to me!
