Hello! My name is Julia and I'm a bassplayer from the Netherlands. I started playing instruments when I was 6 years old (piano for 2 years and fiddle for 9 years). Didn't take long to discover the bass is my instrument!
I started with a mini electric bass (yes I'm short ;-) and 2 years later I started playing the double bass.
I graduated at conservatory and I have a lot of experience in playing and teaching.

Whatever style, technic, theory you want to learn: just ask me. No student has the same 'learning path'. Everyone has a 'custom made' way of learning the bass and everything that comes with it!

Currently I have my own band (manager and bass player), do a lot of understudies in bands and projects, play in theatre projects, do a lot of studio work, teach on Artez (conservatory) and at home and help artists with their administration and tax return. So, full into the artist business!
